Teaching day! Here you will be taught by our Med school experts with a plethora of offers between them. Here you will learn all the basics you need to get the most from your experiences and really understand what reflection is and how to best apply it to your future experiences in order to create clear, succinct and unique interview answers that will BLOW the examiners away. Learn how to prepare for the MMI, what some common questions are and how to approach them. Finish off by learning about techniques, Hot Topics with analysis of how to use them in unique situations as well as some articles & stats that will make sure you stand out to Examiners. We’ve done all the hard work for you, you just need to come and learn!

GP day – Shadow a GP and members of the MDT (Multi Disciplinary Team) and see what life is really like at a GP practice both from the doctors perspective and from other members of the team’s. Experience a variety of patient interactions such as telephone appointments, in person consultations and management of patient problems along with so much more! Best of all we will give you a custom template to write down all your experiences in a way that will best help you reflect in the future and perfect your interview answers.

Experience a BLS (Basic Life Saving) Course – something not only useful for your interview but also the fact that you can save someone’s life! Learn about Mental First aid – a key hot topic in the NHS currently. After this, receive teaching from some of our faculty members (previous university examiners) about what examiners are really looking for in interviews and get some key insights as they have experience examining themselves.

Get a first-hand view on what it is like in a Care Home and really get the experience to empathise with some of the most vulnerable members of society and help people that experience some of the worst health inequalities in the UK. This will be some great experience in a unique setting for those looking to bolster their application. Again we will have already covered earlier in the week, how to make the most of this experience and reflect from it, so we’ve done all of the heavy lifting for you!

Come together and share about your experiences with each other – its like getting 10 weeks of experience in one! Present in front of people and improve your communication skills as well as participating in some communication and teamwork activities. Finally experience a mock MMI circuit with everything you’ve learned to solidify your knowledge and get personalised feedback for this as well!
